New Standards in Energy Efficiency
For the same performance, the S8038 consumes 25 % less than the next best competitor, improving the energy efficiency of your server. The reduction of the power consumption is the result of months of motor optimization by ARCTIC engineers with the aim to increase the IT equipment efficiency.

Wide speed range (500 to 7000 rpm)
The S8038-7K offers a wide speed range that can be controlled both via PWM and voltage. This enables perfect optimisation of the fan to the specific requirements of the system. With a speed range from 500 rpm to 7000 rpm, it offers an ideal balance between cooling performance and noise development despite different requirements. The standard 4-pin connection additionally allows the S8038-7K to be connected to 2-pin or 3-pin headers and thus be controlled by voltage instead of PWM. The 30 cm long cable offers excellent flexibility when positioning the fan.
Active Cooling for Extended Motor Lifespan
A 10 °C lower motor temperature roughly doubles the service life. The motor of the S8038-7k is not only particularly efficient, but is also actively cooled by an additional impeller in the fan hub. This advance not only leads to improved operating efficiency, but also to considerable cost savings in the long term. The scope of delivery includes a sticker for the motor hub, which ensures a long service life even in particularly dusty environments.
Ideal for server environments
Especially in server environments, fans with a high pressure are required to enable sufficient air circulation in the often tightly packed enclosures. The S8038-7K fits into 2U server housings and serves as an upgrade or replacement for a CPU fan, radiator fan or for system ventilation. In addition to server cooling, it is also used in industrial systems and plays an important role in machine control and automation systems. Reliable and robust, it guarantees performance in various hardware environments and ensures efficient cooling and minimised downtimes.
High Airflow and Static Pressure
Heat sinks and radiators benefit from fans with high static pressure. The S8038-7K has a static pressure of 25 mm/H2O, which enables it to push air, even through narrow cooling fins. At the same time, it achieves a maximum airflow of 118,93 m³/h allowing it to quickly dissipate heat from enclosures. These properties make it the ideal choice for a wide range of applications.
Designed for Continuous Operation
The impeller of the S8038-7K is held in place by two Japanese ball bearings, making it not only particularly durable but also less sensitive to external influences such as heat and dust.
Quality You Can Rely On
To ensure the longevity of our products, we carry out long-term tests under different, sometimes very adverse conditions. In this way, we learn how we can permanently improve our products for our customers. In addition, the excellent results of long-term testing give us the assurance that our products are not only outstanding in terms of quality, but also in terms of durability. This is a certainty that we are happy to pass on to our customers, which is why we give a 6-year manufacturer's guarantee.
